 PICCOLO LATTE VS CORTADO


Piccolo latte is a milk based drink with smooth texture and rich flavors. It was invented in Australia. Cortado is also a milk based drink which originated in Spain and is full bodied and strong.



    Ingredients:

          ➔ Fresh coffee beans
           ➔ Fresh Milk                  


    Equipment:

          ➔ Espresso machine
          ➔ Burr grinder
          ➔ Tamper
          ➔ Distributor (optional)
          ➔ Milk pitcher
          ➔ 4oz Glass cup



Piccolo also known as Piccolo latte is a combination a ristretto and steamed milk while cortado is a combination of espresso and steamed milk in equal parts.

For Piccolo, 20ml ristretto (approximately ⅔oz) is combined with 100ml steamed milk (approximately 3⅓oz). Cortado on the other hand has 60ml of espresso (approximately 2oz) and 60ml steamed milk (approximately 2oz)
